November 14, 2011 - Westover, W.Va. - An accident involving a tractor trailer and another vehicle sent at least one person to the hospital on Friday, November 11.
A news report from WBOY indicates that the accident happened shortly before 3 p.m. near the Westover Interstate 79 on-ramp. Officials could say only that the tractor trailer and one other vehicle were involved in the accident. Further details of how the accident occurred are not yet available.
The woman that was driving the tractor trailer was hurt in the accident and had to be driven to a local hospital. The extent of her injuries is currently unknown. According to officials, the woman was conscious when she was transported to the hospital.
Whether or not anyone in the second vehicle was injured is unclear.
The identities of those involved in the accident have not yet been released. The accident is under ongoing stages of investigation by local authorities.
