Traffic Blocked after Car and Semi-Truck Collide in Kanawha County

February 6, 2012 – Kanawha County, W.Va. – A news story on WSAZ indicates that 2 lanes on Interstate 77 were closed following an accident that involved a car and a semi-truck on Friday, February 3.

The accident happened shortly before noon on Interstate 77, close to the 101 mile marker. The car and the semi-truck crashed into each other in the middle of the intersection. Exact details of how the collision occurred are not available at this time.

Reports conclude that no injuries have been brought forth with this accident. The severity of the accident is currently unclear.

The fast and middle lanes were blocked to traffic for about half an hour after the accident until all lanes were reopened again in the afternoon.
