WSAZ states that the incident happened at around 3 a.m. in the 6500 block of MacCorkle Avenue. Officials said that a car crashed through a fence near the roadway. Further details about how the accident occurred are not yet available.
Initial reports say that 2 or 3 people were wounded in the crash. The injured people were taken to a local hospital to receive medical assistance. The extremity of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The names of those involved in the collision have not yet been publically released.
The cause of the accident remains to be determined. Officials in the area are in the stages of investigation.
