April 22, 2011 - Kanawha County, W.Va. - One person was hospitalized Wednesday following a car accident in Kanawha County.
WSAZ reports that the accident occurred at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Sissonville Drive and Call Road. One vehicle t-boned a second vehicle in the intersection. Further details concerning how the accident occurred are not available at this time.
One person was injured in the crash. The person was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The injured person's medical condition is unknown.
The identities of those involved in the accident have not yet been released.
The two cars were the only vehicles involved in the accident. There were no further injuries.
The accident completely blocked the intersection, cutting off both Sissonville Drive and Call Road. Emergency worked to clean up the debris from the accident and the road has since been reopened.
The cause of the crash remains to be determined. The accident is under ongoing investigation.
