Man Charged with DUI Second Offense in Morgantown Crash

November 22, 2011 - Morgantown, W.Va. - A man has been charged with DUI following a car accident on Monday, November 21.

WBOY reports that the accident ended in the Monongalia County School Lot off of Broadway Avenue. According to officials on the scene, Jumarh Lenyee was driving his 2002 Cadillac Escalade along the roadway when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to run off of the road, near the intersection of Brockway Avenue and Beech Street.

The Escalade then mowed down a street sign and drove over some flower pots and other personal property. The cost of the damage amounted to about $500.

Lenyee's vehicle finally drove into the Monongalia County School's parking lot and crashed into a 2006 Ford E-50 van.

When police apprehended Lenyee, his blood-alcohol level was at .195. Lenyee had been charged with DUI second offense. He has been released pending trial.
