Injuries Unknown in Sissonville Collision between Car and KRT Bus

November 3, 2011 - Sissonville, W.Va. - A KRT bus and a car collided on Tuesday, November 1. Whether or not anyone was injured remains unknown.

According to a news report on WSAZ, the accident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. in the 6800 block of Sissonville Drive. Officials reported that the bus and the car crashed into one-another on the road. Additional details of how the accident came about are not available at this time.

Whether or not anyone was injured in the accident is unclear. Reports have not indicated how many people were involved. The identities of the drivers involved in the collision have currently been concealed from the public.

There has been no word on whether or not anyone will be charged in connection with this accident.

Emergency response officials were at the scene for some time following the accident.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's 2009 West Virginia Crash Statistics show that there were 356 fatalities as a result of car accidents in West Virginia.
