Fisher-Price Recalls More than 10 million Products

The Charleston Daily Mail reports that Fisher-Price has recently recalled more than 10 million products because of injuries that have occurred, as well as reports that the products are defective.

The Fisher-Price recalls include:

Fisher-Price Trikes and Tough Trikes - approximately 7 million were recalled after 10 reports of child injuries, with 6 requiring medical attention. The tricycles come with a plastic ignition key located close to the seat. If a child falls or sits on it, this can result in genital injuries.
Healthy Care, Easy Clean and Close to Me High Chairs - more than 1 million were recalled because of 14 reported problems. They come with pegs used to store the tray; however, the pegs pose a safety risk to children who fall on them. There were 7 children who required stitches for their injuries.
Baby Playzone Crawl & Cruise Playground toys, Baby Playzone Crawl & Slide Arcade toys, Baby Gymtastics Play Wall toys, Ocean Wonders Kick & Crawl Aquarium toys, 1-2-3 Tetherball toys and Bat & Score Goal toys - more than 2.8 million of these were recalled because the valve on the inflatable balls can detach, which poses a choking risk. There were more than 50 reports that the valves dislodge.
Fisher-Price Little People Wheelies Stand ‘n Play Rampway toys - about 100,000 were recalled because the wheels can detach from the green and purple cars, which poses a choking risk.
