Accident in Bradley Sends 3 to the Hospital

September 20, 2011 - Bradley, W.Va. - An early morning accident sent 3 people to the hospital on Monday, September 19.

A WBOY news report indicated that the accident happened at about 1:30 a.m. on Robert C. Byrd Drive. There may have been several vehicles that crashed on the roadway but exact details of how the accident occurred have not yet been made available.

Reports say that 3 people were injured in the accident. All 3 were taken to local hospitals immediately following the accident. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

The 3 victims have not been publically identified as of right now. No other information has been released of other injuries or damages being reported in connection with this crash.

The reason behind the cause of the accident remains to be determined as it is still under continuous investigation by deputies of the Raleigh County Sheriff's Department.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's 2009 West Virginia Crash Statistics show that there were 356 fatalities as a result of car accidents in West Virginia.
