A WTAP news story reports that the incident happened at around 4 p.m. where Murdoch Avenue and 37th Street meet. A green Ford Escape and a red Pontiac were involved in the collision. Further details of how the accident occurred are not currently available.
Reports indicate that a person did suffer injuries as a result of this crash. The victim was transported to Camden Clark Medical Center to receive medical treated for minor injuries.
The identity of the injured person has not been released. The names of anyone else involved in the accident have also been concealed.
Traffic was slow between Red Lobster and Buttermore Jewelers for some time after the crash.
The accident remains in the stages of investigation by local officials.
