WDTV reports that the head-on crash in Barbour County happened at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday on Route 250. According to state police, a pickup truck and a box truck collided head on near the Barbour County line. Further details of how the accident occurred are not yet available.
One of the occupants of the pickup truck was injured in the accident. That person had to be airlifted to an area hospital via HealthNet. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The identities of those involved in the accident have not yet been released. No further injuries have been reported in connection with this accident. The accident is under ongoing investigation.
