Highland Hospital Take-Over May Not Happen

Delegate Tim Miley interviewed on WDTV discussing the issue Highland Hospital is facing trying to locate in the old United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, WV.



After the outcry from the public, Fairmont General decided to meet with Highland Hospital officials on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in an attempt to resolve their issues. If the issues are not resolved quickly, there is a possibility that over 400 permanent jobs that Highland Hospital would bring to North Central WV could fall through. The 400 permanent job estimate does not include the temporary construction jobs that would be used to renovate the facility.
