Adding Another 4 Million Dollar Election?

On January 18, 2011 the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals unanimously agreed, based on the laws of the constitution, that current Senate President Earl Ray Tomblin must, acting as the Governor of the State of West Virginia, order a proclamation calling for a General Election for the current open seat of Governor. The order further stated that current law dictates the Political Parties will appoint nominees to the ballot by convention. The election must be completed with the newly elected Governor taking office by noon on November 15, 2011.

Currently, there is discussion as to whether the law should be changed to add an additional Special Primary costing the State of West Virginia approximately four million dollars.
