Legal Malpractice Case

Settlement arising from a legal malpractice case against another law firm. Client was initially represented by another law firm to be represented for injuries sustained in a car accident. That law firm failed to file its client's legal claim within the applicable statute of limitations period, which means that the client was forever barred from recovering for his injuries against the other driver. Client hired The Miley Legal Group to pursue a legal malpractice case against his former attorney. Case was settled for well beyond what he would have likely recovered if his former firm had filed his legal claim in a timely fashion.
