Woman Suffers Head Injury in ATV Accident in Fairview

November 24, 2010 - Fairview, W.Va. - One woman has been sent to the hospital following an ATV accident in Fairview on Sunday afternoon.

WDTV reports that the ATV accident took place at around 4 p.m. Sunday in the driveway of a home off of Daybrook Road in Fairview. The woman was riding her All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) when it overturned.

The woman, 20, received a head injury in the accident. She was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital by HealthNet immediately following the accident. As of 11 p.m. Sunday, the woman's medical condition had not been made public.

The identity of the woman is unknown at this time. There were no others involved in the ATV accident and no more people were injured.

The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department, the Blacksville Volunteer Fire Department, the Wadestown Volunteer Fire Department, and Monongalia EMS were on the scene in response to the accident.
