Possible Hit-and-Run 4-Vehicle Accident in Clarksburg Under Investigation

October 26, 2010 - Clarksburg, W.Va. - A possible hit-and-run accident in Harrison County is currently under investigation.

WBOY reports that the accident occurred on Saturday evening on Limestone Run Road, when 2 vehicles crashed on the roadway. The vehicles then struck two more cars that were nearby. In total, the accident involved 4 vehicles.

It is unknown how many people, if any, were injured in the multi-car accident.

One driver left the scene immediately following the accident. No details are available concerning the make or model of this person's vehicle. The person's identity has not yet been reported at this time.

The accident remains under investigation by the Harrison County Sheriff's Department.
