One Injured after Vehicle Overturns in Mingo County Accident on Route 65

August 12, 2010 - Mingo County, W. Va. - One person is in the hospital after overturning their car Tuesday afternoon in an accident in Mingo County.

WBOY reports that the accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on Route 65. The victim was injured when their vehicle flipped over on the roadway.

According to Mingo County Dispatch, the driver received multiple injuries. These injuries may have been to the legs. Mingo Dispatch said that the crash happened in Lenore. At this time, the identity and condition of the victim are unknown.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's 2008 West Virginia Crash Statistics show that there were 380 fatalities as a result of car accidents in West Virginia.
