Good Samaritans Come to Aid of 2 Injured in Lesage Car Accident

April 13, 2011 - Lesage, W.Va. - Two people were injured early Tuesday morning when a vehicle overturned and landed in a creek in Cable County.

WBOY reports that the Lesage car accident occurred on Big 7 Mile Road in Cable County. The vehicle went off of the roadway and flipped. It landed upside-down in a nearby creek.

Two people were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Both were injured in the crash.

Emergency officials said that residents of the surrounding area were able to free the people from their vehicle before crews arrived on the scene.

The two injured people were transported to a local hospital. The injuries of both people have been described as minor and not life-threatening.

The identities of those involved in the accident have not yet been released, nor have the identities of the Good Samaritans been revealed.

Only one vehicle was involved in the accident. There were no further injuries.

The cause of the accident remains to be determined.
