Father Hospitalized, Daughter Injured in ATV Crash in Landisburg

August 5, 2010 - Landisburg, W. Va. - A father and daughter were injured Tuesday in an ATV accident in Landisburg. The father was hospitalized following the accident.

WBOY reports that the ATV crash occurred at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, close to Babcock State Park. The man, of Fayette County, was driving the ATV with his 8-year-old daughter on Brookes Lane in Landisburg when the vehicle crashed over an embankment.

The man was transported to the hospital by HealthNet. No additional information concerning his condition is available at this time. The man's daughter received only minor injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the ATV accident.
