2 Injured When Car Crosses Center Line & Collides With SUV on Route 75

November 8, 2010 - Lavalette, W.Va. - A car accident in Wayne County sent 2 people to the hospital early Friday morning.

WBOY reports that the accident occurred at around 7:30 a.m. Friday on Route 75 in Lavalette. According to witnesses on the scene, a car drove across the center line on the roadway. The car then collided with an SUV in the opposite lane. Dispatchers stated that the crash took place in front of Grayson Assisted Living.

Two people were injured in the crash. Each injured person was a driver of one of the involved vehicles. The injured were transported to a local hospital immediately following the accident. The medical condition of these people is unknown at this time.

No other vehicles were involved in the Route 75 accident and no other people were injured.

The accident is under ongoing investigation by local authorities.
